Welcome to my website.

After 40 years of pastoral ministry, I am stepping down as Senior Pastor.  Over these forty years of preaching and teaching God’s Word, I have developed Bible studies on different books of the Bible, subjects, and theological studies, such as living in the last days, etc.

Over the next several months, I will be developing small group and individual studies to help you grow in your faith in Jesus Christ.

Joshua Living Devotions and Bible studies is based on Joshua 1:6-9.

Joshua 1:6–9 ESV “1:6 Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them.

1:7 Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go.

1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.””

My goal is to encourage every Christian to dig deep into the Word of God to grow in their relationship with Christ.

Favorite Bible Passage:

Job 19:23–27 KJV 19:23 ¶ Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!

19:24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!

19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

19:26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

19:27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

Why is this my favorite passage?  Because regardless of what comes in this life, if you know Christ as your Saviour, when this life is over you will have an eternity with Him.

I love the assurance of eternal life found in Jesus because without Him we have no hope, joy, or peace.

Old man, jeep, and another day!

When I turned 60 years old, I bought my own birthday present:  Bulldog red jeep.  Love driving around in my jeep and have had some great adventures in it.  Love photography so I have coupled my joy of riding in my jeep with my photography.

I am creating a new website (oldmanjeep.com) where I will display some of my photographs and lessons I have learned from God’s Word.

The reason I have entitled is Old man, jeep, and another day is because the Lord has blessed me with another day.  Every day is precious and we need to rejoice in it.  After two open-heart surgeries, I keep reminding myself how blessed I am to have another day.
